This classic lightweight sterling silver double rope chain has been oxidized. The chain's lacy look makes it a suitable foundation for delicate pendants and drops. This chain is plated with fine silver to ensure a bright white color and to help protect against tarnish.  The underlying metal is sterling silver (.925).

Double rope chain features link pairs, each connected to the previous two link pairs in a continuous row. The doubling of links gives the chain a more substantial twisting effect, emphasizing the spiraled look characteristic of regular rope chain.
